Yuen Shan Christine Lee, Ph.D.
Neuropsychologist & Rehabilitation Psychologist
NYS Licensed Psychologist About Me
As a neuropsychologist and rehabilitation psychologist, I specialize in working with clients with brain injuries and various types of neurological and medical conditions. Specifically, I have extensive experience providing neuropsychological and psychological evaluations, cognitive rehabilitation, and psychotherapy for individuals with traumatic brain injury, concussion, stroke, vascular disorders, cortical and subcortical dementias, brain tumor, multiple sclerosis, and epilepsy.
My unique training background enables me to provide well-rounded services for my clients. I collaborate with my clients and utilize an evidenced-based practice to determine the most effective and efficient interventions to cope with the challenges they face in their personal and professional lives. With my clients’ consent or by request, I often work with their family members and caregivers, other health professionals, attorneys, and school systems so that the medical care and rehabilitation they receive is not a piecemeal process, but rather an integrative one. In order to provide the most relevant evidence-based interventions for my clients, I regularly attend and present at national conferences and international education workshops. Currently, I am an active member of the American Congress of Rehabilitation Medicine and American Psychological Association (Division of Rehabilitation Psychology). I also continue to maintain a clinical position at the New York University Langone Medical Center. Education
