Nancy D. Adegoke, Ph.D.NYS Licensed Psychologist
About Me
Greetings. My name is Dr. Nancy Adegoke and I am a licensed psychologist who has been practicing in diverse mental health settings for the past 20 years. I have worked with clients across the lifespan: children, adolescents, adults and seniors. I specialize in treating clients experiencing mood disorders, trauma, relationship and family issues, work-related problems and chronic illness. I also have experience working with veterans and college students. My approach to therapy is warm, supportive and client-focused. I try to create a safe and non-judgmental space where you can explore life challenges. We will work towards overcoming those obstacles by helping you gain a deeper understanding of your inner thoughts, behaviors and actions as well as making the necessary changes to live a more emotionally balanced and productive life. Within the therapy process, we will challenge counterintuitive behaviors and examine decision making through a cognitive behavioral approach with the goal of forging a new path of self-empowerment. I also integrate mindfulness, insight-oriented and supportive therapy techniques catering to each client’s individual and unique needs. If you are ready to take a journey of self-discovery and growth to develop tools to navigate life’s daily challenges, I look forward to working with you.
